The Dream Cup Postponed Until 2014


The Dream Cup tennis tournament scheduled for November 28 to December 1, 2013, in Barbados, has been postponed until 2014 on a date to be confirmed in the near future. This postponement has resulted from player injury, which will prevent the hosting of the inaugural Dream Cup Barbados.

In a statement released on November 15, Richard Gasquet stated:

The Dream Cup Team Participates in “Take a Step for Diabetes”


The Dream Cup team showed up in full force to participate in the “Take a Step for Diabetes” 5k walk/run organized by the Diabetes Association of Barbados ( on Saturday 9th to help raise awareness. The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) has named November 14th World Diabetes Day to bring focus to issues of importance facing the global diabetes community.

Murray Scheduled to Return in November, Eyes Dream Cup Title


2013 Wimbledon Champion Andy Murray, currently ranked third in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings, recently underwent minor back surgery.

Andy is returning to training in November for his pre-season training block in Miami and just in time for the inaugural Dream Cup tennis tournament challenge in Barbados. ESPN Announces Partnership with The Dream Cup Barbados Tennis Tournament Challenge

ESPN International announced today a six-year media partnership with The Dream Cup Tennis Tournament Challenge in Barbados. The inaugural Dream Cup will take place this year on November 28th – December 1st at the Sir Garfield Sober Sports Complex.
